I am a software engineer and entrepreneur. I started programming at the age of 16 building websites for gaming related projects.s In 2007 I lead the Windower project and FFOChat for a while, but moved on to Minecraft by 2012. In 2012 I started developing for Minecraft on Empire Minecraft.

By the end of 2013, things really blew up for me as I married my now wife, and formed my own company called Starlis LLC, and legally took over as the owner of Empire Minecraft.

I continue to work for iContact, an email marketing company in North Carolina, however my weekends and evenings are dedicated mostly to Empire Minecraft. As part of my work on Empire Minecraft, I constantly make improvements to the Minecraft Server software (Spigot), providing benefit to many other servers. If you use Spigot, you are benefiting from many of my performance improvements and features.

I am not an official member of the Spigot project, and do not receive any of the donations given to Spigot! So, if you would like to say thanks, please donate 🙂 Donations will go to my company Starlis LLC to keep it simpler on me for Tax Reporting.
